Chile ski racing camp
We recommend Chile Camp mainly to FIS competitors that skip to higher category and also are interested to acquire the first FIS points. The biggest advantage of the ski area, where the camp is organized is its position /3300m above sea level/ that guarantees superior snow conditions. Our own ski training lines offer to us unlimited training possibilities. The camp is organized at the time, when there are insufficient ski conditions in the Europe considering global warming. For the many competitors, on the present, is the training on the south hemisphere becoming obvious or even necessary. It is possible to take part in number of FIS and children races during the camp. We recommend physical preparation for the athletes concerned. This is important according to camp’s duration, area’s height above sea level that is prerequisite for the training’s quality.
About El Colorado
Formed by two interconnected villages, it is located within the metropolitan region, at scarce 39 kilometers from the city of Santiago and it is part, together with the adjacent resorts of La Parva and Valle Nevado, of the largest and best "skiable" surface in South America.
With a maximum height of 3,333 meters over sea level and a 903-meter vertical drop, its 1,000 hectares, authorized for the practice of sports receive abundant and short snowfalls, with an annual average of 5 meter of snowfall. El Colorado also has a system to create artificial snow, thus guaranteeing the duration of the season. The 22 runs of the resort, which are accessed through 18 lifts, allow visitors to enjoy skiing and snowboarding with a good snow quality. Also, they provide many opportunities to practice off-piste ski, both for beginners and experts.
Accommodation:
Private apartments, simple and family oriented, with different furniture, views and orientations. The Monteblanco Building is located in El Colorado /50m from lift/, with a direct entry to the ski tracks. It has a restaurant, bar, water-tempered swimming pool, game room with pool table, disco, central hall, chimney, conference room and mini market.

Snow Characteristics:
Located over El Colorado hill, with a maximum height of 3 333 meters. It receives short but abundant snow with an average of 5 meters of snow in a normal year.
Access:
From Santiago, only 39 kilometers, is El Colorado ski center, located in the Andes Mountain Range, it gets in 1 hour approximately by pavement route.
